An Airman assigned to the 7th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron's electrical and environmental shop, touches a slap bar to discharge excess static electricity May 14, 2013, at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. A slap bar is used to ground any excess static electricity from the body before working with squibs, an electrically-fired explosives, to decrease the chance of an accidental discharge of the explosive.
