Bronze Star Medal

DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- Captain Richard S. Glade receives a Bronze Star Medal Sept. 14 from Lt. Gen. Glenn Spears, 12th Air Force (Air Forces Southern) commander. Capt. Glade was awarded the medal for his service as an Information Operations Cell Intelligence Officer for a Joint Task Force in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from Feb. 22, 2008 to Aug. 25, 2008. He was directly responsible for all intelligence research and analysis in support of information operations planning and execution that resulted in a series of effects-based operations successfully targeting and affecting the enemy insurgency.
