BDF Aircraft Recovery
BELIZE CITY, BELIZE -- U.S. Army Sgt. Michael Linn, 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment Black Hawk crew chief, tightens one of the slingload straps on a downed Belize Defence Force BN-2B Defender aircraft. Joint Task Force-Bravo Soldiers, with assistance from troops from the Belize Defence Force, successfully rigged the downed Defender aircraft and it was successfully slingloaded onto a U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter and delivered to the BDF air station at Belize City International Airport May 3.
