Air Force dentist supports Continuing Promise 2009

USNS Comfort (Port-au-Prince) -- Air Force Captain Amber Heller, a dentist assigned to USNS Comfort in support of Continuing Promise 2009(CP09), extracts a tooth from a patient at medical site Killick in Haiti as a dental student from the University of Haiti observes. CP09 is a four-month humanitarian and civic assistance mission which is a joint effort between U.S. military and interagency personnel, civil service mariners, non-governmental organizations, academia and partner nations to provide medical, dental, veterinary and engineering services afloat and ashore to Latin America and Carribean region to include Antigua and Barbuda, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Panama, El Salvador and Nicaragua.
