US FOL volunteers at local school
Volunteers from the U.S. Forward Operating Location spent several hours refurbishing classrooms for students at Goslinga School in Otrabanda, Curacao, July 8, 2014. Twenty-nine volunteers landscaped, moved furniture, installed windows and reconstructed damaged facilities. The aim of the project was to refurbish two classrooms to create vibrant, spacious, safe and effective learning environments in preparation for the upcoming school year. Volunteers from the US FOL donate time and resources to various areas and programs on the island in order to express appreciation for the wonderful hospitality received from the citizens of Curacao.
