First five F-22 Raptors depart for Tyndall AFB

Lieutenant Colonel Jeremy Durtschi, 7th Fighter Squadron pilot instructor and evaluator, performs pre-flight checks and preparations in an F-22 Raptor at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., Jan. 6. The first five of 24 combat-deployable F-22 Raptors left Holloman heading to Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla. as a permanent change of station.
