Operation K.I.D.

Talib Berry, 9, is greeted by his younger sister Taeryn, 2, after returning from Operation K.I.D. (Kids Investigating Deployment), April 8 at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M. This is Talib’s second year participating in Operation K.I.D. Each year, the Airmen and Family Readiness Center and the Youth Center host Operation K.I.D. in April, the Month of the Military Child. The A&FRC believes that it is important for children to experience what their parents go through during a deployment.
