AFSOUTH maintenance experts head to Montevideo for exchange

Military members assigned to Twelfth Air Force (Air Forces Southern) participated in a C-130 and rotary maintenance and supply management subject matter expert exchange with the Uruguayan Air Force in Montevideo, Uruguay from Nov. 7-10, 2016. During the exchange, the team met with FAU leadership and visited various fixed wing and rotary wing maintenance and supply management sections. Exchanges like this are conducted regularly throughout the year and involve U.S. Airmen sharing best practices and procedures to build partnerships and promote interoperability with partner-nation air forces throughout South America, Central America and the Caribbean.
