Curacao crowd treated to U.S. Air Force demo
Curacao, Netherlands Antilles -- A local child covers her ears as the Viper East demonstration team performs over a bay in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles. The demonstration, flown by Capt. George Clifford, an F-16 demo pilot from Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, was the demonstration team's first overseas demonstration, first over water and first demo in the Caribbean this show season. Viper East joined an Air Forces Southern effort to augment "Dutch Navy Days," a celebration put on every three years by the Dutch military to honor their naval heritage and partnership with the people of Curacao. Air Forces Southern augments Dutch Navy Days
Curacao, Netherlands, Antilles -- The Viper East demonstration team performs their routine over the Punda neighborhood in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles. The Viper East team joined an Air Forces Southern effort to augment "Dutch Navy Days," a celebration put on every three years by the Dutch military to honor their naval heritage and partnership with the people of Curacao. Capt. George Clifford, from Shaw AFB, South Carolina, flew the F-16 demonstration over the Caribbean island while safety observers and Air Forces Southern staff monitored the show site.
