Recently restored, this outdoor theater was used to showcase USO tours and to show movies to troops stationed and transiting through Natal Air Base, Brazil during World War II. The base was nicknamed "Trampoline to Victory" during World War II because it was used as a “jumping off” point for U.S. aircraft before entering African and European theaters. The base is located on the eastern most point of South America. American servicemembers are once again stationed on the base as they participate in CRUZEX V.
