Academy cadets visit 12th AF (AFSOUTH) commander

DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. --  Lt. Gen. Glenn Spears, 12th Air Force (Air Forces Southern) commander, discusses current Air Force topics with a group of Air Force Academy cadets from Squadron CS-38.  The squadron visited Davis-Monthan AFB to tour the 12th Air Force headquarters, the 612th Combined Air and Space Operations Center, A-10 and F-16 units, as well as, learn from Airmen working in various career fields.  During the meal, General Spears took questions from the group, ranging from thoughts on his time as an Academy cadet to ongoing operations in Iraq and Afghanistan and the future of manned aircraft.
