Air Force medics finish MEDRETE Guatemala

Sean Lindsey, a medic with the 188th Fighter Wing Medical Group from Ft Smith, Ark.,  and Capt Tom Phelan from the 189th Airlift Wing Medical Group from Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark., unload medical supplies with the help the Artilleria de Brigade from Salama, Baja Vera Pez, Guatemala. Smith, Ark., examines a woman's eyes in Rabinal, Baja Vera Pez, Guatemala, during a Medical Readiness Training Exercise Aug. 5.  Most of the locals present at the clinic were given sunglasses due to the medical conditions caused by the harsh sun exposure in Guatemala. BAJA VERA PEZ, Guatemala -- Senior Airman Kelli Reed, a medic with the 188th Fighter Wing Medical Group from Ft. Smith, Ark., fills prescriptions in Rabinal, Baja Vera Pez, Guatemala during a Medical Readiness Training Exercise Aug. 5.  Airman Reed, an Air National Guard member who volunteered for this deployment, is utilizing her civilian expertise in the pharmaceutical area to assist in the distribution of medicines to the Guatemalan public.
