Curtis assumes FOL command

FORWARD OPERATING LOCATION MANTA, Ecuador -- Lt. Col. Jared Curtis formally assumes command of the 478th Expeditionary Operations Squadron Forward Operating Location Manta, Ecuador, from Col. Douglas Galipeau, 474th Air Expeditionary Group commander, during a change of command ceremony here August 20. Formerly the Operations Officer for the 61st Airlift Squadron, 463rd Airlift Group, Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark., Lt. Col. Lt. Col. Robert Leonard formally relinquishes command of the 478th Expeditionary Operations Squadron, Forward Location Manta, Ecuador, to Colonel Douglas Galipeau, 474th Air Expeditionary Group commander, during a change of command ceremony here August 20. Since Lt. Col. Leonard assumed command in August 2007, approximately 940 counterdrug missions were launched from the FOL. This
