U.S., Peru military medics, NGOs treat patients during New Horizons Peru

SAN CLEMENTE, Peru—Tech. Sgt. Carlos Espitia selects dental tools to use on a Peruvian patient here June 21. Air Force medical personnel are providing free medical care here as part of New Horizons, a U.S. Southern Command-sponsored humanitarian assistance and training exercise that takes place annually in Latin American and Caribbean countries.
