Airmen helping the community
Forty-three Airmen and civilians from 12th Air Force headquarters, volunteered their time Dec. 16 to provide service to more than 10,000 Tucson residents in need in the local community. The team, who schedules time each quarter for group volunteer projects, volunteered at the Tucson Community Food Bank, a local charity striving to reduce the impact of hunger and chronic malnutrition through programs of advocacy and nutrition education.
