A Peruvian soldier explains the Peruvian rank structure to U.S. Marine Sgt. Alan Parvis, deployed from the 4th Civil Affairs Group at Anacostia Naval Annex, District of Columbia, and Airman 1st Class George Monroe, deployed from Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., June 6, during a visit to Huanta, Peru, the construction site where wells are being built in support of New Horizons Peru 2008, a humanitarian event that benefits underprivileged Peruvians. U.S. Air Force, Army, Marines, and Navy servicemembers came together to build new schools, clinics, and water wells which will accommodate nearly 5,200 Peruvians.
