Staff Sgt. Javier Romero, deployed from the 820th Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operation Repair Squadron Engineer (RED HORSE) Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., helps Sister Amanda Delgado explore a box of food donated by the U.S. military, June 9, to Juan Andres Vivanco Amorin, a children’s orphanage in Ayacucho, Peru. The orphanage houses 180 boys and girls who will be affected by the support given to New Horizons Peru 2008, a Peruvian and U.S. partnered effort to build schools, clinics, and wells for the Peruvian people.
