Operation Southern Partner
Capt. Nathan Broshear, Twelfth Air Force (Air Forces Southern) Public Affairs, talks to a Chilean child during a visit to the ALDEAS SOS orphanage food exchange in Santiago, Chile where Airmen, a Soldier and U.S. civilian volunteers ate a traditional Chilean lunch. In exchange, the Chileans were treated to a favorite American food – peanut butter and Jelly sandwiches. Captain Broshear and seven other participants are in South America for Operation Southern Partner -- a Twelfth Air Force (Air Forces Southern) led event aimed at providing intensive, periodic subject-matter exchanges in the U.S. Southern Command area of focus.
