Santiago Metros beat U.S. Airmen at their own game
In one of the traditions of the game and a show of good sportsmanship, the winners and losers clasp hands and extend congratulations after a close baseball game. The U.S. Airmen were in Santiago, Chile for FIDAE 2008, an air and trade show, and Exercise Newen 2008. They had the opportunity to play the friendly game with the Santiago Metros, a 19-and-under squad of semi-pros. The Chilean team bested the Americans at their own game, winning with a score of 8 to 5. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt. Jason Tudor).
