Santiago Metros beat U.S. Airmen in friendly baseball game
A player for the Santiago Metros semi-pro baseball team gets ready to bunt and take off for first base during a game played against U.S. Airmen visiting Chile. The Airmen were in town for FIDAE 2008, one of the largest air and trade shows as well as Exercise Newen 2008, participating with the Chilean Air Force. Airmen from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., and 12th Air Force (Air Forces Southern) brought gifts of tee shirts, backpacks and hats, donated by the Colorado Rockies professional baseball team, to the Santiago players as well as the local children.
