USFOL volunteers at Siloam Orphanage
Twenty volunteers from the U.S. Forward Operating Location painted the Siloam Orphanage facility in Curaçao, July 29, 2014. The volunteers painted the exterior of the building and donated clothing, hygiene products, recreational toys and funds to increase the children’s quality of life. This project was completed in partnership with the director, Bro Herman, to ensure that the children’s needs were met, including a safe and secure environment. The men and women at the USFOL are frequent volunteers in the local community, to express appreciation for the two countries’ friendship and the wonderful hospitality they have received from the people of Curaçao.
