MEDEL & 1-228TH MEDEVAC
In response to a Honduran government medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) request, personnel from the 1-228th Aviation Regiment and the Joint Task Force-Bravo Medical Element load an automobile accident victim onto a U. S. Army UH-60 Blackhawk MEDEVAC helicopter as they prepare to airlift him to the Hospital Militar in Tegucigalpa, Honduras from the Joint Task Force- Bravo Medical Element's helicopter pad at Soto Cano Air Base, May 13, 2014. A vehicle traveling west on Honduras Highway CA-5 about 13 miles outside of Comayagua was struck from behind by a tractor trailer truck.
