TCCC training provided during Exercise ANGEL THUNDER
Members from the U.S. Secret Service, Swedish Air Force, Air Evacuation Services, and local police departments practice securing an injured person to a litter during Tactical Combat Casualty Care training at the Pima County Training Center in Tucson, Ariz., May 6, 2014. TCCC introduces evidence-based, life-saving techniques and strategies for providing the best trauma care on the battlefield. TCCC is a training event held during Exercise ANGEL THUNDER. Exercise ANGEL THUNDER is a joint-interagency-coalition annual exercise that supports DoD’s training requirements for Personnel Recovery responsibilities through high–fidelity exercises. Exercise ANGEL THUNDER provides the most realistic PR training environment available to USAF Rescue forces, as well as their Joint, Interagency, and Coalition partners. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech.
