Belize Marijuana Eradication
Belizean forces board a U. S. Army UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter to search for marijuana fields in Belize during the marijuana eradication mission. The operation, which lasted March 15-20, 2014, resulted in the Belizean government destroying 34 marijuana fields and approximately 57,283 mature marijuana plants for an initial estimated value of $29 million. In addition, the team also found and destroyed 25 pounds of marijuana seeds. Joint Task Force-Bravo provided aviation support, on-call casualty evacuation and caving ladder training for 52 Belizean personnel who participated in the operation. (Courtesy photo)
