Taking the plunge

Members of Joint Task Force-Bravo took the Combat Water Survival Test (CWST) at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, Feb. 24, 2014. The testing was conducted in the base swimming pool, and required participants to accomplish tasks including swimming 50 meters in uniform and boots, and treading water and floating for five minutes. JTF-Bravo members also trained on helocasting techniques as well as procedures for recovery from water via hoist. The training was conducted in preparation for future JTF-Bravo exercises and operations. (U.S. Air Force photo by Capt. Zach Anderson)
