95th RS maintainers keep aircraft in air, support aircrew mission

Adam Smith, 95th Reconnaissance Squadron instrument and flight controls craftsman from Stratford, Okla., removes a protective cover from the body of an RC-135 Rivet Joint Sept. 11, 2013, during maintenance of an RC-135 Rivet Joint in Hangar 814 on RAF Mildenhall, England. As the lead flightline expediter, Smith manages Airmen in multiple career fields, as well as all of the maintenance on the RC-135s. Regular maintenance on the aircraft is vital.
