Brazilian students visit D-M
Graduate and doctoral engineering students from Brazil discuss the Joint Direct Attack Munition GBU-38 bomb with Master Sgt. Christopher Rasco, a load standardization team chief assigned to the 355th Maintenance Operations Squadron, at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, July 24. The students were in Tucson, Ariz., visiting the nearby Raytheon Company as part of Brazil’s Science Without Borders program and requested the opportunity to visit D-M. The GBU-38 is the smallest version of the JDAM weighing in at approximately 500 pounds. (U.S. Air Force photo/Capt. Jonathan Simmons)
