Brazilian students visit D-M
Graduate and doctoral engineering students from Brazil discuss the capabilities of the U.S. Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt II with Maj. Sean Hall, an A-10 pilot assigned to Headquarters Twelfth Air Force (Air Forces Southern), at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, July 24. The students were in Tucson, Ariz., visiting the nearby Raytheon Company as part of Brazil’s Science Without Borders program and requested the opportunity to visit D-M. The A-10 is a close air support aircraft that has proven invaluable to the United States and its allies in operations including Desert Storm, Southern Watch, Provide Comfort, Desert Fox, Noble Anvil, Deny Flight, Deliberate Guard, Allied Force, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
