Volunteers donate time, talents to the Siloam Orphanage
Several volunteers from the U.S. Forward Operating Location paint playground equipment at the Siloam Orphanage, Nov. 20, 2014. Fourteen volunteers delivered 200 lbs. of donated clothing and toys to the orphanage, before assisting with various tasks, including rehabilitating playground equipment and laying conduit for electrical cables. Siloam Orphanage provides for children with a variety of needs, from toddlers who have been abandoned to children who have mental and physical disabilities. USFOL members participate in activities such as these to demonstrate their eagerness for community involvement and their long-standing appreciation for the hospitality they receive from the citizens of Curacao.
