Kid’s Day
On February 19, 2016, the U.S. Forward Operating Location (USFOL) Curacao hosted a “Kid’s Day” for 51 children and staff from Fundashon Amigunan di Cristo. The children had lunch with members of the USFOL and had the opportunity to tour the USFOL facilities. Additionally, educational demonstrations were provided highlighting the importance of fire prevention, security and safety. It was a great opportunity for the children and the members of the USFOL to interact. Since 2000, the USFOL has built strong partnerships with local community-based organizations to express their appreciation for the hospitality they have received from the citizens of Curaçao.
