Last week, the Air Force deliberately increased its aircraft operations in support of JIATF South in an effort to leverage multi-domain operations, which integrates information gleaned from intelligence, space and cyber domains in for a common objective. From March 2015 to April 2016 the Air Force conducted 278 hours of force-packaged counter-narcotics operations to assist the U.S. Coast Guard and Partner Nations in the interdiction of 14 metric tons of cocaine worth about $437 million.
