Healing bodies, winning hearts and minds
Members of the Joint Task Force-Bravo Medical Element team place two staples in the head of a young boy to stop the bleeding during a medical readiness training exercise, or MEDRETE, in the village of Bacadilla, Olancho district, Honduras, Sept. 22, 2016. MEDEL medics were able to quickly treat the boy who was playing outside the MEDRETE site and tripped while jumping across a ditch, striking his head on a sharp rock.
