NEW HORIZONS 2017

U.S. Air Force Maj. Sarah Reynolds, a pediatrician with the 21st Medical Operations Squadron out of Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., advises the mother of a patient on the use of an inhaler with the assistance of a local volunteer in Azua, Dominican Republic, March 14, 2017, during a medical readiness training exercise as part of NEW HORIZONS 2017. NEW HORIZONS provides U.S. military members an opportunity to train for an overseas deployment and all of the logistical requirements it entails, and promotes bilateral cooperation by providing real opportunities for U.S. and partner nation military engineers, medical personnel and support staff to work and train side by side.
