F-35A maintainers from the 388th and 419th Fighter Wings listen to a briefing just before departing a KC-135 at Amari Airfield, Estonia, April 25. Airmen also wen to Graf Ignatievo Air Base, Bulgaria April 28 to demonstrate the initial concept for a rapid deployment. The trips provided F-35A pilots and maintainers the experience of training in Europe and also reassured allies and partners of U.S. dedication to the enduring peace and stability of the region.
