    The men and women of the leading MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper wing welcomed their new commander during the 432nd Wing change of command ceremony July 6, 2017, at Creech AFB. Col. Julian Cheater assumed command from Col. Case Cunningham in front of a crowd of Airmen, peers and family members while Lt. Gen. Mark Kelly, 12th Air Force (Air Forces Southern) commander, presided over the day’s ceremony. During the event, Kelly congratulated the wing on its accomplishments.
  • 12th AF (AFSOUTH) partners with UA

    Twelfth Air Force (Air Forces Southern) hosted the first speaker series in their Academic Outreach Program with the University of Arizona at Club Ironwood, June 19. The intent of the speaker series is to facilitate the exchange ideas between government and academic institutions while fostering collaborative discussions about global issues. This 12th Air Force (Air Forces Southern) Academic Outreach Program is modeled after U.S Southern Command’s partnership with Florida International University.
  • Honduran, U.S. volunteers conduct underground search and rescue training

    Nearly a dozen Honduran PUMCIR (Personal Utilizado en Misiones Contra Incendio y Rescate – Personnel Used in Fire and Rescue) volunteers and seven U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to Joint Task Force-Bravo at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, conducted a search and rescue exercise in Comayagua National Park near El Volcan, Honduras.
  • Visiting Colombian Airmen donate supplies for Louisiana flood victims

    Colombian Airmen visiting Barksdale Air Force Base, La., donated supplies Aug. 27, 2016, to the local Salvation Army for delivery to relief centers in central Louisiana following weeks of torrential rain and flooding in the region.
